At this special time for us, related to the pandemic, we present online works of students of the Faculty of Sculpture.
There are works made physically in studios, as well as those created during classes conducted in virtual space. Both met in the form of digital documentation at the exhibition presenting the achievements of students and the educational path of our Faculty. Our solutions rely on a balanced approach to the curriculum, that is, finding the proper balance between traditional education methods and modern ones, between what our rich history gives us and the necessity of rebellion or the risk of an experiment. The aim is to gradually and consistently open up to modernity, while making efforts to ensure that our students do not lose their own opportunities for development, and that the acquired technical skills go hand in hand with intellect, instinct and imagination. We make sure that individual features are not lost, on the contrary – we want them to develop in the process of education. We also try to act together, create, discuss and argue, all in order to shape the sculpture of the future together. Welcome!
