Description

The video was inspired by an event that took place in Reszel in Warmia and Masuria in 1811. It was then that Barbara Zdunk became the last person burned at the stake in Europe. If the truth is properly manipulated, human suffering becomes hardly visible, and society will consent to it. Greenscreen overlay on the characters is their stigma. Green is a tool of illusory game from the virtual world. Applying this color gives you the option of replacing given area with any form. The original image fades into a motif of wooded landscape. The remaining elements of the two realities form a moving collage, a camouflage that gives protection through invisibility.
