Video work is the result of combining the aesthetics of karaoke - one of the most popular forms
of international entertainment and disco polo music trend, whose main
centres were Białystok and other cities in Podlasie.
Transforming the song of the popular Polish disco polo band Bayer Full "All the
Poles", artists create a new work in Esperanto where "All people are one
family” (Esp. Ĉar ĉiuj Homoj estas unu familio).
Esperanto is the most widely used international language in the world.
It was created by the Polish-Jewish physician Ludwik Zamenhof, who did not
reserve copyrights and allowed amendments on a basis fo democratic
discussion.
What is important for artists is the combination of the open form of Esperanto and
the communal aspect of disco polo and karaoke, in which amateur authenticity and
humour become a dialogue beyond social and cultural divisions.
