Description
Our Lady of the Scapular with Saint Simon Stock from the parish church in Postoliska dates back to the 19th century. Historically, the painting was a sliding panel of the side altar, but now it is exhibited as an independent work. The old conservation activities had a serious impact on the appearance of the painting, mainly by changed shape of the support and washing of the paint layer. In the process of conservation, steps were taken to strengthen the matter of the painting and restore the original aesthetics - it was decided, among other things, to restore the original shape of the canvas
