Description
In our project, we focused on the relationship between the Baltic Sea and the Vistula. The main character of the para-document we created is a startfish discovered by the river in Warsaw . It was noticed on the sandbank among the other exotic and unusual here remains of snails and mussels, that inexplicably came from the Baltic Sea. The gigantic starfish is taken by us from the Vistula beach and transferred as a museum object. The documented transfer of the found starfish from the beach to the Museum on the one hand alludes to the coastal stalls on Polish coast, where among others shells and starfish imported from China are sold in souvernir sets, and on the other hand, to the symbol of the red star and Miracle of the Vistula. Object measuring 280 cm in diameter and 50 cm in height.
