Description

Photographic and literary subject “Reminder, tribute, laudation.” was implemented in cooperation with the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. “Tombstones without inscriptions placed on a plastic background are to make people realize that memory has the power to bring objects to life. Were it not for the human need to commemorate a person, the tombstone would be merely a polished stone put up for sale. The photographs emphasize that people strive to give form to their memories in order to extend their lifespan” - Jan Romanowski (words of a friend). Publication ISBN 978-83-66076-98-3 “Inscription.
